Mars Attacks

Well I am finally blogging again! Today I am showing you a journal page I have done inspired by Sarah Jessica Parker's character (plus dog) in the film Mars Attacks.

I started by using brushos in my recycled old book journal and once dried I used memento teal, cottage ivy and black through stencils

I then added the dog, cut out from an old calendar on the right page

I then stamped out a skull from Visible image Mr Bonejangles set on white card and cut it out and stuck it on the dogs head.

I then added a phrase which came to me whilst making this page

Unfortunately this wasn't very clear to read so I decided to redo it on a brushoed page in permanent marker. I then cut it up and stuck to the page. Much happier with this.

Hope you enjoyed this page. I am adding this to the Dream in Darkness Challenge

Thanks for looking

Zoëxx

  3. I like the skull on the dog, nice! I know nothing about crafting, I do really like the different textures and techniques you use to make special effects. I noticed that boundaries is spelled incorrectly but better on a craft than a tattoo! I haven't seen this movie yet, I like SJP though. Thanks for sharing Zoe, xx

Journal Page

Here is a journal page using one of my favourite techniques, ink smooshing, got to love a good smoosh.  I have ink smooshed and then done so...
