Journalling

I am really into Art Journaling at the moment and here is a page I have made in an old fiction book.

Firstly I put down a layer of gesso and then painted over this in docrafts pumpkin artiste paint. Once dried I added black homemade texture paste through a couple of stencils.

Once all was dry it was time for stamping. All the stamps used came from Bee Crafty including the bubble stamp, stamped in silver. After I was happy with the page I added a border of white gesso.

Hope you enjoyed the page. I need to learn to take photos at each stage which is easy said than done when you get in a creative frenzy. Oh well, I can but try. I am entering this into the Dream in Darkness March Challenge

  1. Fabulous art journal. Keep up the blogging you will get there eventually. If you blog about things you enjoyed making then its easier to write about them and it becomes less of a chore.

  3. Looks an interesting page, another photo at a different angle might have shown the silvery stampings to greater effect? but it looks like a great page to have worked on. Thanks for sharing at Dream In Darkness.

Here is a journal page using one of my favourite techniques, ink smooshing, got to love a good smoosh.  I have ink smooshed and then done so...
