Dragon Eye Heart

Today I would like to share my dragon eye heart and how I made it. I started with a print out of eyes I bought off Etsy a couple of years ago and attached clear glass beads you buy for decoration (I bought mine in Dunelms).

Once these were dry I cut around them and glued one onto a paper mache heart. I then creating the eye socket with some light air dry clay and glue.

I then glued egg shells all over and once dried covered in black gesso (thought I had photographed this but obviously forgot, oops) I also painted some resin wings I had with gesso.
Once everything was dry the wings were shaped at the ends to improve the fit of the heart and two holes drilled and pins inserted into each one. Each were also glued to give them a strong bond. Once dried everything were painted with a combination of mica powder and pearlizing medium.
I had a fab time making this one and hope my mojo is now back to stay as I have so many ideas floating around my head. I am entering this into the Bleeding Art Challenge Anything Goes and Dream in Darkness Challenge

Until Next Time

New Name

I have decided to rename this to Zazz Creative rather than Zazz Crafts as I feel it better represents my style as a creative person.

Colourful Journal Page

Well I didn't keep up the pace, not really surprised. I do have a lovely colourful journal page to share with you today tho. I took inspiration from this blog post

I started out with some colourful A4 pages I had previously coloured using Brushos. I then stamped and cut out using punches some circles

I cut out a piece of black card measuring 18x19cm and attached some of these to it in a random pattern, playing until I was happy and sticking down

This was followed attaching some colourful images from Crafty Individuals which were a freebie for subscribing to Mixed up Magazine onto red card. I also attached the words Dream, Imagine, Create. I attached the page into my Kraft Journal

Hopefully See you again soon
